A face-protecting storm mask for arctic conditions.

It is a Chinese "motorcycle mask" that was tested in Wild Adventures North's groups in the winter season 2022-2024 in the storms of the open alpine regions of Finland, Sweden and Norway. Test experience summary:

Soft and anti-allergic face foam fits most faces comfortably. For narrow faces, the mask may not fit perfectly. The sense of using masks is commonly questioned due to fogging problems, and this mask model is no exception. However, based on test experiences, fogging can be prevented with proper use. The most important thing is to keep the lower edge of the mask free so that the clothes do not cover it, but the exhalation can freely flow out from under the mask. Another point is to avoid lifting the mask unnecessarily on the forehead, especially over a sweaty and warm beanie. The mask has a grid, which by removing the covering foam gives it more breathability. The mask attaches to the glasses with four pins. The mask can be taken off and put back on, but it seems that it is not made to be taken off. The spikes may break when removing the mask in freezing weather. Based on test use, this mask is "just ok" and a cheap alternative to the Scott Safari mask.
