AURORAW Premium cooker box for one stove

This AURORAW premium cooker box has been designed in cooperation between Finnish arctic expedition guides and professionals in the metal industry.

The most important function of the cooker box is to improve the safety of stove use. By closing the box, you can put out the fire inside. It makes moving the stove safe.

Until now, cooker boxes have typically been handmade by outdoor enthusiasts themselves. AURORAW premium cooker box utilizes the possibilities of a modern full-service metal house. That's why it's not just a box. It is a kitchen system for arctic conditions. It is safe, durable and lightweight. It is compatible with different stove models and contains functional innovations.

Functional innovations:

• Magnetic attachment for stoves: With universal super magnets, which can be purchased as an add-on, the stove can be attached to the desired position on the bottom.
• Height-adjustable grate: The grate, which can be purchased as an add-on, provides a sturdy base for the pot. It also allows the pot to be kept away from the flame. When the grate is held higher, it works as a flame control for stoves that do not have their own flame control. The more space there is between the bottom of the pot and the flame, the less carbon monoxide is produced.
• Modularity: Cooker box parts can be removed without tools. The "handiness" of the drawer is changeable, i.e. the partition can be moved to the other side.

Compatibility:

• Compatible with many different stoves. Five stoves have been used as models in the design phase: MSR Whisperlite, MSR XGK EX, Optimus Polaris, Soto Stormbreaker and Primus Omnifuel.
• Sized for MSR Ceramic Pot 2.5l and Sea to Summit SIGMA POT 2.7l. Pot fit inside the box.
• Compatible with most large approx. 1.0 liter fuel bottles. In the design phase, four fuel bottles have been used as a model: MSR 887ml, Optimus 1.0l, Soto 1.0l and Primus 1.0l.

Other features:

• The lid closes with a lock.
• There is a chain on the side of the lid that keeps the lid upright when it is opened. The chain can also be removed if desired.
• The bottom has a tight welded construction that keeps leaks inside the box.
• The extra-long carrying loops can be gripped with, for example, large gloves.
• First the top cover and then the front cover are closed. Our tests showed that this order of closing the lids is the most intuitive and effective way to control the fire.

• The box may have dirt and scratches caused by production, transport and storage. The box will get scratched in use.
• This product contains only the cooker box. Grate and magnets are sold as separate add-ons.
